phrame (phrame.phestudios.com) is Phe Studios’ private media library for its clients: a browsing, search, and delivery layer over each client’s own Google Drive archive. It is invitation-only. This page describes exactly what the service accesses and stores.
What we access, and why
- Your Google account basics(name, email address, profile photo) — to sign you in and to route you to the library you’ve been invited to.
- Google Drive files inside your organization’s archive folder only.Access is Google Drive’s own sharing: phrame can only ever read folders that were explicitly shared with the signed-in account. It lists and displays those files, streams them for playback and download, and (for studio uploads) adds new files. It never reads the rest of your Drive, and it never deletes media.
- Gmail send permission — used only when you explicitly choose to email selected photos from the library. phrame never reads your mail and never sends anything on its own.
What we store
- A metadata index (file names, ids, sizes, dimensions, timestamps, and studio-added tags/captions) in our database, so the library is fast to browse and search. Never the media bytes themselves — those stay in Google Drive.
- Delivery derivatives: cached thumbnails and, when you request a large package, a temporary ZIP that expires and is deleted within 48 hours.
- An activity log(sign-ins, downloads, uploads, curation changes) visible to your organization’s library administrators.
- OAuth tokens, stored server-side and used only to perform the actions above. They are never displayed, logged, or shared.
What we never do
- No selling or sharing of your data with third parties. No advertising. No trackers.
- No training AI models on your data or media.
- No access beyond the shared archive folders, and no permanent deletion of client media — removals go to the Drive trash, recoverable for 30 days.
Google user data — Limited Use
phrame’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the library features described above, is never sold, and is never used for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Media lives in your organization’s Google Drive, under your organization’s control — un-sharing the folder cuts phrame’s access immediately. The metadata index is a disposable mirror rebuilt from Drive; ask us to remove your organization and its index rows, derivatives, and log entries are deleted. Sign-in sessions expire automatically.
